What Car Rentals are Available for Luxury Car Rentals?

Monday, February 8th, 2010

There are several times when you want to rent a vehicle whether it is used for vacation, or when you have flown to go to a business meeting. Either way if you are looking for a luxury car to rent you might want to look around before you choose the right one. In this article we will go over some of the most luxurious cars that you can rent.

With one of these enterprises in which you can rent luxury cars in those areas are amazing. They are cars that you might never own or even ride in your average day. These cars are amazing, however in Canada the available cars are much more limited than in the US. For example in you can get a BMW rental in Toronto, but in New York and Miami the options are considerably better.

In New York these cars can include the Ferrari F430, the Lamborghini Murcielago, the Lamborghini Gallardo, the Bentley Continental Flying Spur, Mercedes Benz S550 4matic, and the Range Rover Supercharged. These rentals can range in the rental value for one day from three hundred ninety five to one thousand four hundred and fifty for just a twenty four hour period. But if you wanted to rent one of those cars for a week it would cost anywhere from two thousand and thirty five dollars to seven thousand one hundred and fifty dollars. These are cars for high rollers, or for those who want to look good but don’t really care about the price tag behind it.

Let’s go over the same company but in there Miami area rental store. The cars that you can find in Miami are as follows: the Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren, the Ferrari F430 Spider, Ferrari 360 Spider, the Lamborghini LP640 Roadster, the Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster, the Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder, the Bentley Continental GTS, and the Rolls Royce Phantom. This company is different because for the Rolls Royce Phantom it says that you pay four hundred dollars by the hour. This is different, but good if you only want to rent it for a short amount of time.

There are several places in which you can rent these sorts of cars. Basically all you need to do is a basic internet search engine search with keywords like renting luxury cars, or even down to the exact car and area that you are looking to rent the vehicle. You can research the different places that you have chosen that have the car or the cars that you want to rent. Research the best of your ability to see if the site is legit and credidential. After you have decided the perfect company in which you would like to rent there car all you will have to do is get in touch with the company, or visit the company themselves. Give them the dates in which you will need the car and they will pull up an estimate or even the final cost of what your car rental will be.

These wonderful luxury car rentals can be found in all parts of the United States, and even all over the world. Some of the prices vary but they are usually the same.

There are several excellent cars that you can find that are up for rentals, but most of them require you to have some big bucks. But these cars, and trust me there are many out there, can be available if you really want to make the best impression with someone when you pull up in one of these cars.

Wednesday, July 15th, 2009

Most car rental companies normally keep their late-model cars for rent for one to two years after being in service. When the cars are retired from service, they will normally be sold at an auction, through a dealer, or directly from the rental company. Auto Reposession and Car Rentals

Tuesday, December 9th, 2008

When it comes to car rentals, there are a plethora of reasons as to why an individual or family would want access to a rental car. Some of the more obvious reasons include going on a family trip, or when your car is getting repaired in the service shop, but there are also a lot of other reasons that people tend to overlook.

The purpose of a car rental is that you get access to a car when you require. Some people may need a car only for a couple days each month, so a rental car or loaner car is perfect for them. Another reason why someone would need a car rental would be if they fell heavily into debt and their automobile got repossessed by their creditors. Unfortunately, this scenario is not uncommon and affects thousands of North Americans each and every year. Especially in the current economic crisis, people need to be extremely careful with their spending and ensure they don’t fall deeper into debt.

One of the primary reasons people end up getting their car repossessed is that they are often unfamiliar with all of the auto repossession laws that could drastically affect their credit rating. If you end up getting your automobile repossessed, it’s probably because you either offered a voluntary repossession to the bank (in order to reduce some of your outstanding debt payable), or you got the car taken away repossessed involuntarily for failing to meet your payments.

However, there are cases where the banks will step in and repossess your car without you failing to make a payment. This would occur if you tried to sell the car, failed to have insurance, or if the car was stolen or received any damage. Any of these situations would call for the creditors to step in and repossess the car because in essence, when you sign off on your automobile to the creditors, it becomes their possession. So if they think that you won’t be able to make payments, (and have some evidence obviously) then they have the legal right to come in and claim what is their rightful property (your car!)

Auto repossession is a problem that many people tend to overlook because they don’t understand many of the stipulations and legalities of the contracts they sign with their creditors. Then before they know it the car repo letters start showing up and the next thing you know you need a rental car because you need to go grocery shopping and your car got repossessed! So be sure to do your research and check up on the auto repossession laws before signing off on your car to your creditors.

What to Expect In a Car Rental Contract

Monday, November 10th, 2008

While each rental company will have its own contract, there are some standards that cover the basic areas of every car rental agreement. If the contract has anything different in it, the company is obligated to point this out to you, though it is still a good idea to look through any paperwork before signing it.

A car rental agreement is basically a contract between the lender of the car and the renter who will be using it. These usually favor the lender, but if you pay attention to the extras, you’ll be able to keep things pretty fair.

Standard Requirements from the Renter

Every car rental contract will require the presentation of a valid driver’s license. This is standard. Only drivers whose names are actually on the rental agreement can drive the vehicle . . . if someone else is driving and has an accident, you`ll be liable for everything, even if you purchased insurance.

Age is another issue. While you can drive at 16, you can’t rent a car at this age. Most states require drivers to be 21 or older before they can legally sign a contract and rent a vehicle. This does vary somewhat, though and if you are traveling outside the country, you will want to find out what the standard age is.

Contract Sections Dealing with Potential Problems

There is always the risk that a vehicle will get dinged or even destroyed while in the renter’s hands. For this reason, there is usually an optional insurance that you can purchase at the same time as you rent. Many people actually have this covered under their usual auto insurance, so check this first, before buying extra insurance.

Any tickets, speeding, parking or otherwise, that are incurred during the lease of the vehicle will need to be paid by the renter. Any damage is usually fined, so it pays to take a walk around the vehicle and point out any damages that are already in existence. Be sure these are marked and signed on the contract so you have proof that they didn’t occur while you were driving.
There should also be well laid out consequences for things like returning the vehicle late or with an empty gas tank. Returning the car to a different location than where you rented it is something that often comes with a fee, as well. Be sure to read this part carefully, since you can save quite a bit of money by paying attention and making sure that you bring the vehicle back in the proper condition.

Possible Restrictions of Use

Every contract will tell you how you can use the vehicle that you are renting. Most won’t allow you to cross a border or go off-roading. Some areas will have very specific rules, while others will depend on the type of vehicle that you are renting. Some companies will allow you to use only up to a certain number of kilometers or miles within the time period specified. If you go over this limit, you`ll end up paying premium prices. This makes it cheaper to stay in the area.

It’s important to always read through the rental car contract before you sign it, just in case there are any surprises. You won’t have any defense if you just don`t read it. Most rental forms are fairly short, so you don’t need to waste too much time checking it and learning about what your responsibilities are. This also prepares you for the possibility of problems, since you will already know how these are commonly dealt with. Car rentals are a great convenience and it helps to understand the contract.
